We seek to faithfully share the love of God within our community and beyond, through proclaiming the Word of God, and living out the love of Christ in practical ways.
Maple Creek Community Church Values
Who we are and what we believe
1. Biblical Authority
We understand the Bible to be the foundation of our faith and practice, both corporately and individually. As such we are committed to reading it, to teaching it in relevant ways and to applying it as it shapes our thinking and produces life change.
Joshua 1:7-8, Matthew 5:17-18, 2 Timothy 3:16
We are committed to Christ centered worship as a lifestyle both personally and corporately. As individuals we will give to Him the very best of our time, financial resources, gifts and our talents. Corporately we will seek to provide the opportunity for an authentic, relevant and joyful worship experience.
Psalm 29:2, John 4:23-24, Romans 12:1-2
We value individual prayer and united corporate prayer, as a humble expression of dependent faith and the starting point for bold initiatives.
2 Chronicles 7:14, Matthew 6:5-18, Ephesians 6:18, 1 John 5:14-15
We are committed to being a community of grace, hope and restoration where people of all backgrounds and generations are loved, valued and accepted. We believe it is every believer's responsibility to participate in the community life of the church.
Romans 12:4-5, Hebrews 10:24-25, 1 Peter 3:8
We are committed to advancing the Gospel by being an active and positive spiritual influence in our communities and the world. We will intentionally seek to demonstrate and proclaim the love and light of Jesus Christ in practical ways to bring people at home and abroad into a personal saving relationship with Him.
Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 9:35-36, Acts 1:8, Romans 10:14-15
God has called and equipped us to serve Him in the church, community and world. We are committed to discipleship, and to helping everyone find a meaningful place of service that utilizes and develops their gifts, talents and leadership abilities.
