About the event
The Torchmen are no strangers to Maple Creek Community Church having delighted the congregation and friends with their concerts in the past. We are pleased to present yet another evening of worship and celebration through this concert event, held in our woship centre on Inman Road. This is a free event and all are welcome to attend this uplifting musical experience. Please share the word of the concert and invite a friend to join you July 2nd at 7:30PM.
There will be a free will offering collected during the concert to help the Torchmen with their expences and needs. Please come prepared to give.
In 1969 four men including Walt Andres met at Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church in St Catharines Ontario and embarked on a journey only a creative and soveriegn God could imagine. Just a few months after the journey began, a young Mike Moran joined the group after being part of the Hisey Brothers quartet. Many faces have been part of the Torchmen over the years, with Sandy, Norbert and Jon being part of the lineup at different times. Each of these men have many years of experience behind them, and are looking forward to new experiences God has planned for them.
